The Promise of Justice & Accountability Legal Program

The Promise of Justice & Accountability Legal Program gives formerly incarcerated individuals access to free legal services and advice. Our goal is to assist anyone seeking fair and just treatment under the law following incarceration. Through our foundation, we also advocate for criminal justice reforms and civil rights protections

Jumpstart Financial Literacy Program

Our Jumpstart Financial Literacy Program provides returning citizens with pre and post-release financial education to help them re-establish themselves in the community. Our goal is to equip currently and formerly incarcerated individuals with the life skills they need to take advantage of the many financial services available to them.

Healthcare Navigation

At SARC, our committed medical team offers crucial assistance to justice-involved individuals dealing with chronic diseases and mental health issues.

Through collaborative partnerships with county public health departments, federally qualified health centers, mental health providers, and other community-based organizations, we facilitate referrals to ensure easy access to vital healthcare services.

Here at SARC, our medical professionals are dedicated to addressing our participants' physical and behavioral health needs, ensuring seamless continuity of care for all those we serve.

The Affordable Care Act Medicaid expansion began implementation in December 2023. Public health insurance coverage is available to justice-involved individuals who qualify.

Mentor at the Gate Program

The Mentor at the Gate Program helps prepare incarcerated individuals for their eventual release and re-introduction into the community. Upon their release, many justice-involved citizens struggle to find housing and employment. They also might have difficulty re-integrating with their family. The Mentor at the Gate program begins while individuals are still incarcerated and works with them all the way until they're a successful member of the community again. By Helping them think ahead and establish a plan before their release, we're able to greatly lower recidivism rates.

SARC Re-entry Partnership Housing

SARC's Re-entry Partnership Housing program provides transitional housing for citizens immediately following their release from prison. Ensuring these individuals have a stable home to go to is one a critical step towards successfully returning to the community.

Peer Support (WRAP)

SARC's Peer Support (WRAP) program offers guidance to the formerly incarcerated, as well as employment opportunities to justice-involved citizens who have successfully completed our training program.
